This painting captures an experience from the late 1990s. While I believe the artwork speaks for itself, there is a meaningful backstory behind it.

During a visit to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side with our children, we approached the falls from a secluded area. There, we encountered a young boy wandering alone, far from the crowd, moving deeper into isolation. Concerned for his safety, we encouraged him to follow us back toward the main viewing area to find a police officer. Though hesitant, he trailed behind us at a distance.

When we reached a police officer, he stated they were looking for this missing child. He quickly contacted the boy’s mother, and we could hear her crying with relief. Details…
